Terms of Service & Booking Agreement

Eco Clean San Jose LLC

1. Payment & Deposit Policy

To secure your appointment, a non-refundable $75 secure deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit will be credited toward your total service cost.

Card on File: For your security and convenience, we exclusively accept major Credit or Debit cards. By paying the secure deposit, you authorize Eco Clean San Jose LLC to securely store your card details via our payment processor (Square) and to automatically charge the remaining balance of your service upon job completion.

Note on Gratuity: To ensure 100% of your gratuity goes directly to your technician on the same day, we operate a cash-only tip policy. We do not accept digital tips via credit card or invoice.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy (48-Hour Notice)

When you book an appointment, we reserve that time and professional staff exclusively for your home. We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice for all cancellations or rescheduling requests. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, or lock-outs where our team cannot access the premises, will result in the forfeiture of the $75 secure deposit as a cancellation fee.

3. Safety & Service Boundaries

To ensure the safety of our staff and remain in compliance with our insurance and Workers’ Compensation regulations, our technicians are subject to the following restrictions:

  • Weight Limits: Technicians are prohibited from lifting or moving furniture or appliances weighing more than 25 lbs.

  • Height Limits: Technicians will only clean areas reachable with a standard 2-step stool.

  • Biohazards: We do not clean mold, human/pet waste (including litter boxes), blood, or areas with pest infestations.

  • Exterior Work: Our services are strictly residential and interior; we do not provide exterior window cleaning, pressure washing, or steam cleaning.

4. 48-Hour Satisfaction Guarantee

We do not issue monetary refunds for completed services. However, your satisfaction is our top priority. If you are unhappy with any area of your home, please contact us within 48 hours of your cleaning. We will return to re-clean the specific area in question at no additional charge.

5. Damage Reporting

Our team is fully insured and takes the utmost care when cleaning. In the rare event that an item is damaged, you must notify Eco Clean San Jose LLC within 48 hours of the appointment. Liability for any single item is limited to the current depreciated value of that item and is subject to the terms of our insurance policy.

6. Non-Solicitation of Employees

By booking our services, you agree not to independently hire any past or present Eco Clean San Jose LLC staff member for home-related services outside of our company for a period of 12 months following your last service date.

7. CCPA Compliance

As a California-based business, we respect your privacy. By using our services, you acknowledge that we collect necessary identifiers (name, address, email) solely for the purpose of service fulfillment and billing in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
